By Captain Kennedy, from Edenton, in North-Carolina, which he left the 24th ult. we learn, that no stamped Paper had then arrived there ; and that Mr. M'Cullough, the Gentleman who was first appointed Distributor of Stamps for that Province, had not only resigned the detestable Office ; but that one Doctor Huston, who had been fixed on since as the Officer, had also declared he would have nothing to do with an Office that was so disagreeable to his Country.--Captain Kennedy was cleared out as usual ; and all other Business going on in the customary Way, the General Court being then sitting when he came away.
