Full Text

Military Memoranda.
Gen. Harrison left this place on Saturday for Upper Sandusky.
A company of U. S. infantry arrived here on Sunday from Chillicothe.
There are now at this place 4 companies of regulars, and three companies of 12 months volunteers. It is said they will not remain here many days.
We have heard a report, which, we think wants confirmation, that General Winchester, with his command, has arrived at the Rapids.
Gen. Perkins brigade of Ohio militia are still at Lower Sandusky.
Gen. Tupper's brigade remain at the camp near McArthur's blockhouse.
About 300 of them were on the sick list by the last accounts.
We are asked, every day, when the army will move for Detroit? Omniscience alone can solve the question.
The public stores which are daily arriving at, and forwarded from this place to the Head Quarters of the army, are immense. Nevertheless, it is said that there is but a small quantity of forage at Upper Sandusky.
The weather, for some days past, has been extremely cold, the ground very hard frozen, and transportation thereby rendered tolerably easy.
From the army under Gen. Hopkins we have heard nothing of importance lately.
From the Army of the North and Army of the Centre, we learn nothing of moment since our last. General Dearborne is snug in winter quarters, and Gen. Smyth has become an object of ridicule and detestation throughout the state of New-York.
There has been a sham duel between Gen. Smyth and Gen. Porter. P. said S. was a coward; S. challenged him; they met; they fired; nobody hurt; both shook hands, and both subscribed to each other's bravery and patriotism.
What an elegant pair of Generals!
