WRANGELL A WINNER

The Wrangell Hi Basketball team won the first game of a five-game series with the Wrangell Institute last Thursday evening by a score of 29-17.

The Institute boys started out with a bang and things did not look so bright for the High School. During the second and third quarters Wrangell Hi had everything in its favor. In the final quarter the Institute started to play a better brand of ball, but it was too late to pull their score up enough to make the game look dangerous.

The success of the Hi team was mostly due to good team work and passing. The players and points made by each are as follows:
