BOY COASTER HURT WHEN
SLED RUNS INTO AUTO

Raymond Menard, 12-year-old son of Mrs. Mary Menard of School St., sustained minor injuries to his back Saturday night when he coasted into an automobile driven by Edward Bragg of Norwich. The boy was taken to the Day Kimball Hospital where his injuries were described as not serious. Putnam police investigated. They said the boy slid from a hill near the home of the late C. Dwight Sharpe into the state highway and directly into the path of the Norwich auto. Bragg was reported to have made every effort to avoid hitting the youngster. He was not held.
