Additional Week's Vacation Is Won

MONESSEN, Pa.--The Brotherhood recently won an additional one week's vacation pay for conductors and brakemen on Monessen & Southwestern Railway who acquired 15 or more years of service during the calendar year 1952.

Under the agreement, the additional week's pay is to be predicated on calculations used for the payment of two weeks' vacation pay already received by the employes.

The payment will be made to those who qualify under the provisions with their regular pay of Sept. 3, 1953. Approximately 30 men are involved and the payments will amount to approximately $3,998.40.

W. J. Mulligan, deputy president, assisted General Chairman G. D. Gowher and his committee in reaching the settlement.
