Head Jaycees Here

At an organization meeting of the board of directors of the Hagerstown Junior Chamber of Commerce, held on Monday night, Allen Clopper was elected president, succeeding the retiring president Harry F. Vollmer, 3rd.

Other officers elected were: First vice-president, James Stone; second vice-president, Ray Ruth; recording secretary, Joe Hamilton; corresponding secretary, Evan Crossley; treasurer, Lewis Funkhouser.

The new president and other officers will assume their duties on April 1, and, under the new by-laws, will serve for fifteen months, in order that the chamber's fiscal year may begin on July 1, instead of April 1.
