A general Meeting of the Inhabitants of the Province of So. Carolina was to be held at Charlestown on the 6th Instant, to consider of Steps to be pursued in Union with the other Colonies, "in order to avert the Dangers impending over American Liberties in general. by the late hostile Act of Parliament against Boston, and other arbitrary Measures of the British Ministry."

The South-Carolina Gazette, of the 27th ult. contains a List of thirteen Gentlemen, who are appointed a Committee to receive "Donations for their distressed Brethren in Boston.
