Mediterranean Squadron.—The Philadelphia North American of the 8th, says:—

By letters received in this city, we learn "that five or six lieutenants and the surgeon of the squadron, having been dismissed from it by Com. Hull, are now on their way to Washington to represent their case, and obtain that reparation which its unusual and aggravated nature demands. These gentlemen are most accomplished & exemplary officers, and the principal charge against them is their unwillingness to visit the ladies of the Commodore's family."
