BLOWING OFF STEAM.

Being a nation of flag pole sitters, marathon
dancers and other foolish stunts, it is interesting
to note that we are not alone in the world for
doing silly things. Over in a town in Australia
one man is going to push another in a wheelbarrow
for 50 miles over a hilly road for a wager of $100.
The pusher, a husky garageman, is training every
day by taking a "workout" with his vehicle while
the rider is reported as taking exercises in sitting
to guard against being cramped in the wheel-
barrow. It undoubtedly will be a great event as the
whole town is taking sides in the stunt.

The Australians are said to be more like us than
any other people and they appear to be in one
respect at least. They know how to blow off steam
in an innocent way and have a good time doing it.
