The County Board of Education was in session Monday. A good deal of business was transacted. Hillsboro School District was divided, making south of Eno a district, to be known as Occoneechee, with Isaac R. Strayhorn, W. P. Roberts and A. J. Gordon, committeemen. Hillsboro District now embraces the town and that portion north of Eno, with John Cheek, L. J. Weaver and Geo. Laws, committeemen. The Board adjourned to meet on the 1st day of October, when the appointment of committeemen will be completed and published in full.
