Music by Parcel Post
Sealed Radio Plays For Postal Crew

One morning early this week Clifford Grant, TEM3, was busily sorting parcel post packages in the Training Station Post Office, Bldg. 1920, Coddington Point, when suddenly he heard the strains of beautiful music.

Grant looked around in amazement for the source of the music thinking that he was perhaps, like the fellow in the Ethel Merman song, "just in love."

After performing a few tricky and rhythmic dance steps to the detached sounds, Grant investigated and found that the source was a package within one of his sacks.

He reverently removed the package and routed it on to its proper destination.

Post Office sleuths deduced that package must have contained a portable radio, but were at a loss to tell how it was turned on in a sealed box and en route.
