P A R I S. March 2.

An official account has at length been received of the surrender of Breda, which capitulated to General Daron, at the head of General Dumourier's left wing, on the 24th of February.

Klundert and Williamstadt were both on fire when the dispatches announcing this important event came away.

Bergen-op-Zoom, Steenbergen, and Geertruidenberg, were also invested; and Commodore Moulton had received orders to burn the Dutch squadron under the fort of Lillo.

Another dispatch arrived yesterday at the War-Office, by which it appears, that the French have obliged General Beaulieu to retreat from Liege, after a bloody attack; and that Cagliari, in Sardinia, had surrendered to the arms of the Republic.

The surrender of Maestricht is hourly expected to be announced by Miranda.

The moment that this is effected, the two armies will proceed towards the province of Holland, and make an attempt on the capital.

It is confidently asserted, that the Orange party are entirely dispirited, and that the Partizans of France increase hourly in number and in boldness.

Amidst the splendor of these successes, the Assignats are depreciating daily in value; and the fears of the more opulent Citizens are greatly increased by the present appearances, and the late disgraceful attack upon their property.
