From New York, Feb. 8.
The brig Emeline, Stowell, arrived last evening from Bordeaux, Capt. S. sailed on the 1st of Jan. and brings Paris papers to the 22d of Dec. containing French bulletins from 32 to 42, inclusive. They furnish, however, nothing materially important....
No battle had been fought since our former accounts. On the 5th of Dec. the headquarters of the French armies were at Posen.
The Russians were concentrating their forces, and advancing to attack them.
The King of Prussia had succeeded in joining the Russian army, and had left it for Konigsburg, where the Queen was. A general engagement was soon expected.'
Several of the Austrian regiments, forming the army of neutrality in Bohemia. had returned to Austria. Other corps of the same army had received orders to repair to Hungary. Prague is the general rendezvous of the troops returned from the frontiers.
The official account of Great Britain being declared in a state of blockade, is contained in these papers.
The English parliament met on the 15th of December. Mr. Abbott was chosen Speaker of the House of Commons.—The King, for special reasons, had not yet delivered his speech.
In addition to the above, we understand a letter has been received in this city, which states that the French troops have advanced as far as Prague in Poland, a government for which had been organized by Bonaparte ; and that the Russians had declared War against the Turks. To-day's mail will doubtless furnish a few particulars.
The king of Prussia is said to be with the Russians.
