LIBELS. Wm. J. Snelling, late editor of the N. E. Galaxy, seems to have an abundance of business on hand. According to the Transcript, he has been lately sentenced in the Municipal Court to 60 days imprisonment in the common gaol, and to pay the costs of prosecution, for a libel on the memory of Susan E. Monroe, deceased—and for a libel on D. O. Harris and Amos S. Allen, 60 days imprisonment in the common gaol, and costs of prosecution.— From this sentence Mr S. has appealed to the Supreme Judicial Court.
