Col. Anansell, who has been appointed a Colonel of Cavalry, and authorized to organize a regiment to serve in that arm of the service, was in the city yesterday. He has already received five companies, and hopes soon to have the regiment complete. He is going into the work with great vigor. Col. Anansell is highly spoken of by the press of Washington county, and from what we know of him, we are quite sure he will make a brave and efficient officer. We understand he was appointed on the recommendation of Gen. Hill.
