LETTER OF APPRECIATION
H. E. Noell, State Highway Division Engineer, ninth division, received the following letter a few days ago from a prisoner at the McDowell Camp prison near Marion:
To The Most Honorable (Mr. H. E. Noell)
We the prisoners of this Camp are very grateful over the high appreciative honor of our lovely Supt. Not only for his treatment through the year, but the wonderful Christmas, and New Year's Dinner. Captain Brown have not failed to give the prisoners a feast that was equal to that in Kings and great citizens homes. he made every one of us cast off our sad feelings as being homeless and friendless and feel more at home. Every man in this camp with any judgement at all, and those that fails in intelligent thinking voice the sentiment of this letter of appreciation of our Supt Mr. Ray Brown. and we are entering a new year, and many of the men are beginning with new resolves. May God bless you to continue this our Supt in this field. and may God bless each of us through the year for a greater Service. I am yours for the lord Jesus Christ
