A state-wide drive by the State Highway Department, co-operating with sheriffs in each county, has been started to round up all motorists who have not secured their 1929 car license. The drive was started last week in Pulaski county and later will be extended to other counties. Delinquent motorists will be subject to arrest for failure to secure their 1929 tags before Jan. 15, and in addition are required to pay a penalty of $3 for each 10 days delinquency. The penalty now amounts to $9, and ceases to increase when it equals the cost of the license.
