Dr. Hirshfield Retires From Twin Cities Co-op Board After 9 Years

When members of Cooperative Services, Inc., gather at their annual meeting at 2 p.m., Sept. 5 in Citizens' Aid building, Minneapolis, they will be faced with election of three new directors.

Resigning are Dr. Frank Hirshfield, for nine years a member of the board and president of Cooperative Services for seven years; Ralph Dickman, secretary of the board for three of his four years' service; and Charles Moran, treasurer for two of three years on the board and recently resigned to become assistant manager.

Candidates nominated to succeed these men at recent district meetings in the Twin Cities districts include H. K. Bovee, nominated by North district; Carl Johnson, North; Marcel Mauren, South; Harry Leonard, South and Northeast; William Brennan, St. Paul; Dr. J. F. Piccard, St. Paul; Roy Almquist, Southwest; J. C. Little, Southwest; and G. V. C. Ross, Southeast.

Representing the six Twin Cities districts, these holdover board members will serve another year: W. D. Benson, Southeast; John Buelow, Northeast; Dorothy H. Jacobson, South; W. G. Klett, St. Paul; John C. Knowlton, North; and Clifford Pearson, Southwest.
