Full Text

For the MASSACHUSETTS SPY.

Mr. Thomas,

WHEN the minds of the county convention, respecting the report of their committee, were signified by yeas and nays, "Stephen Longfellow, Esq; though he voted fully against the late acts of the British Parliament, yet he manifested his dislike to some expressions made use of in said report, which he termed harsh and provoking," which I did not then suppose was to be expressed in the vote, but since find it is his desire that it should, I therefore request you would insert it in a marginal note, or, if the proceedings are already printed, that you would insert this, in your next paper. Yours,

SAMUEL FREEMAN.
