Full Text

Petersburg, Dec. 22. Adjutant General de Terms has receiv'd Orders to prepare Relays and other Conveniences on the Road for the Field-Marshal Count Munich, that he may come with the greater Expedition: Immediately after his Arrival, a great Council of War will be held for settling the Operations of the approaching Campaign, which is now look'd upon as absolutely unavoidable, especially since the late Advices we have receiv'd from Constantinople, that the Ottoman Court appears no way dispos'd to send Plenipotentiaries to the Frontiers for treating of a Peace, and that this Court continues to insist on that Step in the Porte, before the Czarina will listen to any Proposals for an Accommodation whatever.

Every thing here is ready for pushing on the War with Vigour: The Regiments are all compleat, and her Imperial Majesty has made 13 new Colonels. A Cabinet Courier set out last Week from Danzick, to receive what remains due from that City to her Majesty; and the 16th Inst. arriv'd Baron de Keyserling's Secretary from Dresden.
