Col. Rinearson To Succeed Lt.-Col. Singleton

Col. Abram V. Rinearson, Jr., U.S.A., will assume command of the Army's Harbor Defenses of Key West tomorrow, it was announced today. Col. Rinearson will succeed Lt.-Col. Clifton E. Singleton, who will leave shortly for Atlanta, Ga., where he will become assistant senior instructor of the organized reserves, Georgia Military District.

Col. Rinearson is a graduate of U.S. Military Academy, 1916, and of the Coast Artillery School, advanced course, 1933. He returned to the United States from a Panama assignment last month and has been on a 30-day leave since then.
