INSTITUTE, W. VA.- (ANP)
The World Problems Seminar, sponsored at West Virginia State College by the Departments of Romance Languages and History was held last week in the Auditorium. Dr. Shepherd L. Witmar, executive director of the Cleveland Council on World Affairs, who spent last summer organizing and directing an International Seminar in Salzburg, Austria, gave an address on "What is Europe Thinking About?"
This was followed by a reception at the home of President and Mrs. John W. Davis. Moving pictures of a trip to Haiti and Cuba were shown by Professor Frederick Clement, who conducted a touring group this past summer.
The closing session was held in Prillerman Hall and included consideration of the UNESCO program.
