MARYLAND ELECTION RETURNS.

Mr. Warfield is elected to Congress in the Montgomery district, by a majority of 700 votes over Major Peter, the present Representative. This is a very unexpected result.

Thomas Culbreth is re-elected to Congress from the district composed of Queen Anne, Talbot and Caroline counties.

FREDERICK COUNTY POLL.

CAROLINE COUNTY.
Republican. Federal.

In Calvert county, the Republicans, after an arduous struggle, have elected three Republican candidates, to wit: John Becket, J. A. D. Dalrymple and Daniel Kent. J. Dare is the only federalist elected, and we understand that he only beat the one next behind him by three votes.

In Kent county there are three Federalists and one Republican Delegate elected.

In Prince George's county the Federal candidates for the Assembly were elected by an average majority of about seventy-five votes.
