Man is sought in child's death
STARKVILLE (UPI) - Authorities sought Robert Lewis Weaver, 20, today in connection with a shooting incident which killed one child and wounded two others.

Killed Saturday was Carla Ann Young of the nearby Rock Hill community. The injured were Janet Boyd and Lawrence Billups, also of Rock Hill.

The Boyd girl was rushed to a Jackson hospital for treatment while Billups was hospitalized here.

Officers said the shooting occurred when Weaver, returning from a hunting trip, fired his shotgun, apparently thinking it empty. The one blast struck all three children.
