After a short intermission, the rip-roaring farce "Should This Meet the Eye" was presented, with Mr. Chas. E. Stokes as Lambkin Landes, Merrick Shaw as Lionel Long, J. W. Beer as Septimus Skinflint, Dr. P. H. Strausz as Teddy, L. T. Hazlett as Nabbem, Mr. Dearpess as Grabbem, Mrs. C. E. Stokes as Maude, and Miss Bobbie Hancock as Polly. The farce created roars of laughter, and the performers showed that they were well up in their parts.
