Suicide.—In the Register of Nov. 5, we mentioned the death, by suicide, of Capt. Daniel Beane of Fishersfield, as he was returning through Chelmsford from Boston, with a loaded team. A correspondent informs, that at Chelmsford he accidentally exchanged his own whip for another, neither of which were worth more than 10 cents; but he was charged with stealing the whip, and threatened with a prosecution; which so affected and frightened him, that he took a rope from his loading, went across a field to the woods, hung himself, and expired before any person could get to his relief.
