Smyrna Landing, September 25.-
Mrs. Nelson Staats of Smyrna, who has been seriously ill at the Kent General Hospital at Dover for the past three weeks, is now convalescing at the home of Mrs. Thomas Wrench.
Mr. J. P. Scout spent the week-end with relatives at Stroudsburg, Pa.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Howell and son Robert, of Franklin, Va., who have been visiting their aunt, Mrs. Thomas Wrench, have returned home.
Mrs. Louis Gaulke and daughter, Mrs. Milton Slaughter, visited her daughter Mrs. Walter Reed at Marcus Hook last week.
Mr. John McKay of Philadelphia, spent a visit with Mr. J. D. Scout on Sunday.
Mrs. Emma Davis visited her son Andrew at Holly Oak last week.
Misses Catherine and Nellie Webb of Wilmington spent a visit with their sister, Mrs. Nelson Staats at Mrs. Thomas Wrench on Monday.
