On a Visit
(Mound House Correspondent)
We were visited this week by the new officers of the Nevada Gypsum Co., who are apparently well pleased by their acquisition of the plaster business and are already making preparations to extend in all directions, which will mean more work and more money for this immediate locality.
The people who were here are Wakefield Baker, President; Morris Kind, General Manager; F. S. Montgomery Chief Chemist; Frank W. Erlin, Secretary and Treasurer; R. B. Inos, Sales Department Manager.
The company is preparing for a night shift. An ice machine has been ordered and Lee is to make ice cream for the bunch during the summer months.
Mr. Getz, the new clerk who is to succeed J. C. Curry, is on the ground. He says Carson looks good to him and the girls he saw look like winners.
John Benson is setting out tobacco plants this week.
This place is rapidly putting on its summer attire.
