TEDDY LOREN JONES, 18, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Mapes. He is a seaman second class in the navy, located at present in the San Francisco area.

Teddy entered the service July 20. His brothers are Dale, Carl, Earl and Paul Conley. He has two sisters, Mrs. Maye Wedderburn and Mrs. Marion Ortkiese, both in Indiana. Born Aug. 18, 1925, in Morrisville, Mo., he was educated in Patagonia schools and was an employe of Strong & Harris before going into the navy. He was home on a short furlough in October.
