chairman of the March of Dimes
campaign in Sampson county, announced
today that the deadline would
be extended until Wednesday night February 5, when
a combination
square
and round
dance is scheduled
to be held at
Bass tobacco warehouse in Clinton.
A known
orchestra
has been
engaged for the affair and advance
tickets the Clinton Lions
club, sponsors of the drive, indicate
a large attendance.
The Sampson county quota this
year is $3,650, the largest to be
since the chapter organi-
zation in 1942. While no cases were
reported the records of
Mr. R. B. Wilson, welfare super-
intendent reveals that total num-
ber of 15 patients received care and
treatment in the past five years.
