Full Text

Messrs. Tazewell and Tyler, Senators from Virginia, and Mr. Robert H. Adams, the newly appointed Senator from Mississippi, have taken their seats. The Senate is now full, with the exception of Mr. Troup, of Geo. who lately obtained leave of absence for the remainder of the session, in consequence of a domestic affliction (the nature of which is not known) which called him home. We may now very shortly expect to hear that the President has sent in his nominations. We hope that we shall have the pleasure of announcing that the most odious of them have been rejected.—Lynchburg Virginian.
