Mrs. Mary Dean Joins Faculty At Laboratory School

Mrs. Mary Tobias Dean wife of Dr. William H. Dean of the department of economics at Atlanta University. has joined the faculty of the Laboratory School as instructor in arts and crafts.

Mrs Dean is a graduate of New York University. A.B. Columbia University. and she has obtained further knowledge in her field in Europe Art Centers. Her teaching experience was gained at Paine College in Augusta. at Bennett College in Greensboro, North Carolina and at the WPA Art Center in New York.

During the summer of 1941. Mrs. Dean was an instructor in the Arts and Crafts Workshop at the Atlanta University Summer School.
