Two men have been successful business partners. Their social and educational backgrounds are different and their views on economic issues, politics, and other questions are often quite opposite. Yet these two partners have enjoyed a friendly relationship, unmarred by any differences in the conduct of their business affairs.

On more than one occasion friends have asked them, How can two partners with such widely different viewpoints be such staunch friends and so agreeable in business? Their answer is simple and practical: "In every-day human affairs we have friendly give-and-take disagreements. However, on the fundamental issue of loving God and our neighbor, we are always wholeheartedly in agreement.

Whatever our honest differences of opinion may be in other matters, we both realize that the only thing of real importance is to love God and express that love constantly in dealing with our fellow men."

In the experience of these businessmen is realistic proof of the efficacy of scientific Christianity in the affairs of mankind. There is nothing either superficial or sanctimonious in the successful way that these two men are applying in their business enterprise the fundamental teachings of Christ Jesus.

Asked by a lawyer of the Pharisees, "Which is the great commandment in the Law?" the great Teacher and Way-shower answered (Matthew 22:37), "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind." And he added (verse 39), "The second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself."
