Editor, The Citizen:

We're all voters. Do we decide
to do better than our best - to
be up and doing with a heart for
any fate?
I like the name of the paper
— The Key West Citizen. When
we vote intelligently, we're all
good citizens.
I hope
the
electoral college
isn't a rubber stamp anymore,
just doing what it's told to do.
It is supposed to do its own thinking. Do we do our thinking and
then act accordingly? We need to.
One voter could elect the president
in case of a tie otherwise.
We often get action by voting. Stay-
away voters elect candidates
by
not voting. Often they get what they
aren't looking for.
Are we happy and contented because
we're good voters?

Main Argument

voters should think independently and vote intelligently to be good citizens, rather than letting the electoral college act as a rubber stamp; abstaining from voting often leads to undesired outcomes.
