HOUSE OF DELEGATES.

On Tuesday, the following resolutions reported from the Committee to whom had been referred the subjects of the Museum and Public Square, were adopted; and a bill in accordance with them was brought in and passed through all its stages, and sent to the Senate.

Resolved, That it is expedient to repair the Museum, and the sum not exceeding $500 be appropriated for that object, and that the said building be rented out by the Superintendent, with the approbation of the Executive, for one or more years.

Resolved, That it is expedient that the lots adjoining the Eastern side of the Public Square be purchased for the Commonwealth, and the Executive is hereby authorized to purchase the same at a fair and reasonable price, provided a good title to them can be given.

Resolved, That the Governor be requested to procure a plan of the building, to be erected on the lots mentioned in the foregoing resolution, suitable for the accommodation of the Courts now held in the Capitol, the Post Office, and the Penitentiary Store, and for other use, and submit the same to the next General Assembly.
