WILMINGTON.—We learn by the Advertiser of the 14th, that the Contractor for putting down the rails of the road, arrived a few days before, and commenced work; and that there are 1200 hands on the road. The steam boat E. D. McNair has arrived, and gone on a trip to South Washington; part of the sills and flooring of the free bridge were removed, to admit her unobstructed passage up the river. Lettuce, asparagus and radishes, have been in market for some time, and green peas are expected in a week from date. There is also a prospect of plenty of beef; and all things taken together, we think our Wilmington neighbors are "getting along swimmingly."
