London, June 2. On Wednesday last, the great Friend of the Nation, in the most August Assembly, when he took into his Hand the Address he had drawn up in private, as an Answer to his Majesty's Letter, (desiring the Militia might be embodied, and march out, on the Threats of an INVASION) expatiated with the true Zeal and Eloquence of a Patriot, on the Subject of his Majesty's Letter; and urged, that the present Time was the only Crisis for carrying the wholesome Law of the Militia into Execution, whereby the People would see they were not only able to defend themselves, but to repulse their Foes, if they dared to attempt an Invasion. He had the Satisfaction of having it passed, Nem. Contradcente.
