The great Friend of the Nation, in the most August Assembly, took up the Address he had drawn up privately as an Answer to his Majesty's Letter desiring the Militia to be embodied and march out due to Threats of an INVASION. He expatiated with Zeal and Eloquence of a Patriot on the Subject, urging that the present Time was the only Crisis for carrying the wholesome Law of the Militia into Execution, so the People could defend themselves and repulse Foes if they attempted an Invasion. He had the Satisfaction of having it passed unanimously.
