BEING HELD AT MANDAN
Sixty-six head of Shorthorn, Polled
Angus and Hereford cattle, and forty-two head of Percheron, French draft,
Clydesdale and Belgian mares and
stallions were placed on exhibition at
Mandan Tuesday in the first showing
in western North Dakota by the North
Dakota Live Stock Association. The
animals are valued at approximately
$75,000.
All are pure bred, pedigreed stock,
and raised in North Dakota. While
the animals shown are offered for
sale, the main object of the midwinter
cattle exposition is to prove to the
farmers that North Dakota breeders
are raising just as good stock as
may be purchased outside the state.
