Small Pox—This loathsome disease has made its appearance in almost every section of the Eastern Shore. In and around the vicinity of Salisbury, as well as Cambridge there has been, and are now several cases, we believe a death or two; and in Talbot county, near the Trappe, there has been several cases; and there are several cases about Easton. Also, on Kent Island, in Queen Anne's county, it has made its appearance. Ephraim Vansant lies dangerously ill with the small pox, at the Head of Sassafras. Doctor William C. Perkins has charge of the case. It is not known how he took the disease as he had not been out of the village for two months prior to his sickness.
