Pfc. William Brown, member of a marine unit that fought their way out of a Commie trap in the Korean War a year or so ago and in the strategic withdrawal took such impressive toll of the dope-headed on-rushing “Chinks,”

has been home on leave the last two weeks. Yesterday he left for El Toro marine base at San Diego, where he will report for reassignment.

Marine Brown, still way under 25, has done his full share of combat duty in the present UN “police action” in Korea. Twice he was wounded in battle as to require considerable hospitalization. He is now doing his second enlistment in the marines.
