Ohioan Wins Top Hospital Position

COLUMBUS, Ohio- (ANP) Mrs. Romona Dorcas won high distinction last week when she was appointed to the position of pharmacist at Grant Hospital, one of Columbus' largest and best known hospitals.

In a letter of commendation to hospital officials, the Columbus NAACP stated, "we have learned of your action and commend you for this step forward. We trust that it is evidence of a good policy of hiring and placing personnel on a basis of qualification."

Mrs. Dorcas, the wife of John A. Dorcas, a salesman for the Crayson Sausage Company, is a recent graduate of Ohio State University. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. John O. Smith of E. 12th Avenue, Columbus.
