Boston, Sept. 20.—Augustus S. Cobb, who has been manager of the conservation division of the Massachusetts fuel administration since its establishment a year ago, has been appointed by Federal Fuel Administrator Garfield, assistant chief of state conservation of the United States fuel administration.
Mr. Cobb will make his headquarters in Washington and in his new position will do for the whole United States the same kind of work he has been doing in Massachusetts.
