Full Text

HUMOURS OF DERRY FARE,

THREE or four pedlars, three or four packs,
Three or four hucksters, emptying sacks;
Three or four sutlers selling their gin,
Three or four sharpers, taking folks in;
Three or four beaux with three or four misses,
From which they expect three or four kisses,
Three or four bakers trafficking bread,
Three or four fiddlers pretty near dead;
Three or four children gotten by chance,
Three or four dozen at hipsy-faw dance;
Three or four hundred crowding the streets,
Three or four races, quarter mile heats;
Three or four sporters rattling cash,
Three or four high fellows cutting a dash;
Three or four fools stript to the buff,
Three or four noses bloody enough;
Three or four bullies bound over to court,
Three or four vendues closes the sport.
