AN ACCIDENT AT BRENTWOOD.

ANGELO FORMOSA, OF FRANKLIN, WALKS OFF OF AN EMBANKMENT.

BRENTWOOD, Tenn., Jan. 17. - Angelo Formosa, an Italian fruit dealer of Franklin, fell over the embankment of the bridge which spans the L. & N. Railroad near the power plant of the Nashville Interurban Railway about 7:30 o'clock tonight and was seriously but not dangerously injured. His face struck one of the tracks of the road and his mouth was badly mutilated, but he was not rendered unconscious. Formosa had just left the grocery store of Mr. Delius, near the scene of the accident, and it is supposed intended to cross the bridge, but in the darkness which prevailed lost his way and walked off the embankment. He was taken to Franklin on the Columbia accommodation. Formosa is about 20 years of age.
