Urged on by what is considered a necessity, the Nome chamber of commerce is starting a campaign for the organization of a Pan-Alaskan organization, the purpose of which shall be to further the interests of all towns and sections of the territory.
Communications have been sent forward to all commercial bodies throughout the territory, asking co-operation in the formation of such an organization.
For many months the people of Nome have had under consideration a plan, but it was not until a meeting of the Chamber of commerce was held that it was decided to take definite steps toward the formation of the territorial organization.
