"The Ethics of Jesus and Modern Living" will be the theme of a series of lectures by Dr. Thomas S. Kepler, professor of New Testament Language and Literature at the Oberlin Graduate School of Theology, set for Monday and Tuesday at Morris Brown College.
The eminent educator and minister is presented by Turner Theological Seminary and lectures, scheduled for 11:30 a.m. each morning, 7:30 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, will be open to the public.
A graduate of Cornell College, Dr. Kepler also earned baccalaureate degrees at Boston University and was awarded honorary degrees by Baldwin-Wallace College and Boston University. He worked toward the doctorate at Marburg, Germany and Cambridge, England.

Prior to taking over his present position, he served as pastor of Pawtucket Congregational Church, Lowell, Mass.; professor of Bible and Philosophy, Mount Union College in Ohio and professor of Religion, Lawrence College in Wisconsin. Dr. Kepler has written several books and is currently a contributor to various religious periodicals. Five of his books were chosen in respective years as among the fifty best religious books of the year by the American Library Association.
