ST. LOUIS ELECTION

The election for City Officers took place in St. Louis on the 3rd inst. John M. Wimer, locofoco, was chosen Mayor, over John F. Darby, whig. The vote stood—

Mr. Wimer was the regular nominee of the mechanics and workingmen, as also of the locofocos. The mechanics and workingmen's ticket was successful, with one exception. The whigs elected one candidate, independent of the mechanic's ticket. The locos did not elect a single man of their own ticket.

The Council stands—8 whigs, 4 locos.
Board of Delegates—7 whigs, 5 locos.
