Returning Tourists Bag
Three Polar Bears

Dr. and Mrs. Ruthfuss, who were tourists here last summer, returned to hunt polar bear and were successful in bagging three north of Kotzebue.

They leave today for Anchorage and plan to continue their hunting expedition for other kinds of Alaskan bear.

Dr. Ruthfuss flew with bush pilot Leon Shellabarger and within half an hour had located and killed his three trophies.

Last year he bagged a Kodiak bear and hopes to get a grizzly before leaving the territory. Mrs. Ruthfuss confined her hunting to sheefish, she stated.
