Full Text

Petersburg, June 17. Letters from Walachia and Moldavia, unanimously confirm the News of the bad Condition that the Ottoman Troops are in, and say that it is hard to express the Terror with which they are seized, on hearing of the Approach of the Russians, with whom there is nothing they so much dread as coming to Blows. They add, that the Seraskier of Bender was marched with all haste towards Belgorod with the greatest Part of the Troops under his Command, so that Bender is in a Manner abandoned, in order to save Belgorod, which it seems is much the more important Place.
