Congratulations

Dear Sir:

The NAACP Southeast Regional Office joins the Atlanta and Georgia communities in saluting The Atlanta Inquirer, a young crusading weekly newspaper, as it celebrates its First Anniversary.

During the past year The Inquirer has come to the forefront of the journalistic battles for justice and equal rights for Negroes.

Thus, The Inquirer has fulfilled a need; it has quenched the thirst for strong and courageous journalism in the area of civil rights: it has performed true to its motto, "To Seek Out the Truth and Report It Without Fear or Favor."

The NAACP proudly congratulates The Inquirer on its First Anniversary and wishes for it continued success and prosperity.

Sincerely yours,
Southeast Regional Office
